Elle dessine et peint depuis sa plus tendre enfance : quatre ans.

Em Warden a travaillé la technique de l’aquarelle avec un professeur américain, mais elle se dit partiellement autodidacte et curieuse de toutes les découvertes et techniques, travaillant les couleurs et la matières qu’elle intègre à ses toiles ou supports bois.

Em Warden

is living and working in Sweden. She has been drawing and painting since a very early age- from the age of four on an almost daily basis.

Em Warden calls herself an "almost autodidact", even if she has developed her painting techniques with the help of an American art school professor.

The base of her paintings is always watercolor, but sometimes she adds inks, a piece of thin veneer, paper tissue or even beautiful bird’s feathers. For instance, in the picture "Good Morning" the man is holding a mug of coffee, represented by a piece of gold pleated lemon tree veneer, and the roughly suggested bed sheets are white paper.
